GP Consultation Fees
Effective as of 1 November 2023
Bulk billed consults are available for all patients who hold a Pension or Health Care Card and are registered with MyMedicare at our practice.
There is a variety of wonderful GPs who practice at Port Macquarie GPs.
They set their own fees. Some do not bulk bill at all. Please check prior to booking your appointment.
Port GPs offer mixed billing with on-the-spot processing of eligible Medicare rebates.
Indicative fees are as follows:

In most cases we can process your Medicare rebate at the time of your appointment.
*Telehealth Medicare rebate only applies where patient has visited for a face-to-face service in the last 12 months |

All consults will incur a private fee* with the exception of:
- Children under 16 years of age
- DVA patients (All Gold card holders and White card holders for approved conditions)
- GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements
- Health Assessments for those meeting the Medicare criteria
*subject to doctors discretion
Each GP has their own billing structure.
Concessional rates may be available for Commonwealth Concession Cards at the doctor’s discretion. We recommend you discuss possible fees with your GP
